Controls Technologist/Technician:

Process Group is looking for intermediate controls Technologist to join our growing team.
PSI is seeking motivated and experienced individuals for the role of Controls Technologist. As a Controls Technologist you will have proven working experience designing, programming and commissioning automation solutions.
Project responsibilities could include:

  • Electrical design and drafting
  • Programming and implementing PLCís, HMIís, SCADA Systems, MES Systems, Robots, Servo and Motion Controllers, Variable Frequency Drives, Vision Systems, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
  • On site commissioning and start-up of equipment
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation
  • Providing technical support
  • Troubleshooting and testing systems

This position requires a post secondary degree/diploma in engineering/technology combined with approximately 2-3 years of experience.

This position can, at times, require frequent travel to customersí sites both locally and internationally. Candidates must meet necessary citizenship requirements and be able to travel freely as required. A valid class G license and reliable transportation are also requirements for this position. Benefits offered after the probationary period and remuneration is commensurate with experience.
